With a glass-enclosed lobby that opens onto the Court of
Sciences, the Life Sciences Teaching and Conference Center will provide
expanded and enhanced teaching space. Equipped with state-of-the-art
audio and video technology, the Center will also allow for both
international and domestic, professional and academic conferences.

Placed in the heart of the campus' biomedical community, the
new Center for Genome Biology and Molecular Medicine will strengthen
vital partnerships between scientists and researchers in the College and
the School of Medicine. Comprised of three new laboratories, one floor
each, the Center represents the most significant step in the history of
UCLA to bring together medicine and life sciences faculty in jointly
held space promoting collaborative research.
